Hanoi – Hue – Quang Tri – Hanoi
Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi (D)
You will be met by our guide & driver at the airport. A cyclo tour around Hanoi is followed by a performance of Water Puppetry. Dinner at a local restaurant then transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Hue (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, you will take a city tour including History Museum, Army Museum and Hoa Lo prison. Lunch at a local restaurant with “fish pie” (Cha ca), a specialty of Hanoi.
In the afternoon, free time for your shopping at the Old Quarter until time to transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue. Meet our guide & driver at Phu Bai Airport in Hue. Dinner and overnight in Hue.
Day 3: Hue – Quang Tri (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel then you will start your trip to DMZ area. Drive on Highway No.9 towards Laos’s border; stop over in Lang Vay Special Forces Camp, Khe Sanh Base, Dakrong Bridge, Cam Lo, Rock pile and Camp Carroll. Lunch box and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Dong Ha Province.
Day 4: Quang Tri – Hue (B, L, D)
Transfer to visit 17th Parallel which was considered as the demarcation line between the North and the South of Vietnam during the American War. Continue the route to Ben Hai River and Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnel, Quang Tri Citadel. Return to Hue via Highway No.1. Check in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue - Hanoi (B, L, D)
In the morning, visit the Forbidden City for exploration of the remnants at the Citadel and its open air war museum. Continue to visit Thien Mu Pagoda which is the symbol of Hue city (and Dong Ba market where conical hats are sold if time permits). Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Hanoi. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 6: Departure (B)
Free time for your leisure until time to transfer to the airport for your ongoing flight. Tour ends.
