In the morning, visit to the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Then take a photo stop at some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. Continue to visit the War Museum, Ben Thanh market for shopping. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will explore the remarkable underground tunnel network and former Viet Cong stronghold at Cu Chi, 30 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi Tunnels consist of a network of more than 200 km of underground tunnels used by resistance fighters during the U.S. / Vietnam War. Back to HCMC in the late afternoon. End of tour.
